Beretta and GMK are excited to announce their Young Shots Team for 2015!  The idea behind the Beretta Young Shots Scheme was first conceived in 2014 with the intention of supporting up and coming, ambitious, young shooters who were showing real potential in their chosen discipline. They were to be supported in a number of ways, being offered a loan of a competition shotgun and full technical backup, financial support towards entry fees, £500 worth of accessories and a Beretta uniform.

After scrutinizing many applications we are excited to announce our three young shots!

Ronnie Green, age 15 yrs / Alex Wilkinson, age 16 yrs / Joshua Keeble, age 20 yrs

Ronnie Green has been shooting for just three years and competing for over two. He began shooting in 2011 after requesting a shooting lesson for Christmas! His most notable results to date include Junior Champion High Gun at the British Schools and Young Shots Championships 2013 and more recently British Open Sportrap “Silver”  colt in 2014; South East Inter-Counties FITASC Colt Champion 2014. He is also County Colt FITASC Champion 2014 in his home county of Kent.

Alex Wilkinson from Cheshire, began shooting at the age of 12, after having his interest kindled while watching his father clay pigeon shooting. Since then he has worked his way closer to achieving his dream of one day representing his country.  He has several impressive results to his credit including, winner of the British Schools and Young Shots Championship 2014; Beretta World Sporting Championship joint 2nd place in Under 18’s Class and joint 3rd in ‘B’ Class 2014; National inter-counties Junior All Round Champion; 4th in Juniors at the All Round World Championships; 2014 British Sporting Colt Champion.

Joshua Keeble began shooting at the age of 14 shooting with a 410. When he was 16 he began clay shooting and has never looked back. Coming from Shropshire, Joshua has represented both Great Britain and Wales internationally in 2014. His record is equally impressive and he has many championship wins to his belt. He was the Benelli SP’Auto junior High Gun in both 2013 and 2014! Welsh junior Sporting High Gun 2014 and Welsh Sporting overall runner up with a new personal best of 96! Also in 2014 he claimed the title of Welsh Skeet Junior High Gun and British Championships Junior Fitasc High Gun!

We are very pleased to be supporting all three of these talented and enthusiastic young shooters. We believe they will be excellent ambassadors not only for Beretta but for clay shooting in general.

Congratulations from all at Beretta and GMK ltd.
