William Theodore Ribbs, III, or Theo, as he’s known, is a true individualist. Originally from California but residing in Texas, Theo shoots Sporting Clays and FITASC, and practices primarily on the 15 acre ranch he calls home. He’s been shooting competitive, always with Beretta, since he was 14, with the Beretta Urika 2.
The way Theo got into competitive shooting tells the story of his history, as well as his swagger, “Shooting Sporting clays was my dad’s hobby when he wasn’t racing. I was eight years old when I became his personal trapper and bag boy. As soon as I turned twelve, I started shooting off and on. By the time I was fourteen, I was competing regularly, and my dad became the trapper and bag boy.”
Theo especially enjoys competing at the World Championships, because he likes the pressure. He has been a 3 time Texas State FITASC Champion, and aspires to be World Sporting and FITASC Champion.
