Kimberly Weikel is a young lady with her priorities straight. She cites her greatest achievement as “Being able to maintain a 4.0 GPA in school while also being ranked as an All-American shooter.” She competes in Sporting Clays, .28 gauge, 20 gauge and .410 bore with her Beretta DT-10.
Living in Florida, Kimberly’s whole family was involved in shooting competition due to her father’s passion for the sport. Kimberly caught the bug, and has been shooting since she was 7. She says her favorite shoot of the year is in San Antonio at Nationals, because she gets to see all the friends she’s made over the years at competitions all over the country.
One of our favorite things about Kimberly, besides her priorities, is that she aspires to serve as an ambassador for sport shooting – it’s one of her biggest goals. At the same time, she will continue to compete, as well as attend school, and like any good girl, go hunting and shopping.
