Beretta Pyramid Gallery Manager
LOCATION: Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid – Memphis, TN
DEPARTMENT: Sales & Marketing
The objective of the Bass Pro Pyramid Gallery Manager is to manage the Beretta Gun Room at the offsite Bass Pro Pyramid Memphis location. Responsible for all Beretta firearms, as well as assisting with clothing and accessories sales, while maintaining agreed upon margins. Responsible for the safety and security of all Beretta merchandise. Responsible for continual training of Bass Pro employees on the Beretta brand and products offered. Responsible for transmitting financial reports to the National Account Representative & Director Sales - Chains. Accounting and bookkeeping skills and experience with PC applications will be needed to generate various reports.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Provide sales analysis and feedback to the National Account Representative to develop strategies and implement them to achieve sales objectives, while striving to maintain a 25% margin on all firearm products.
Manage the sales of Beretta firearms in the Bass Pro Pyramid Memphis; analyze inventory sales to stock ratio and make recommendation to BP management; implement all Beretta and BP consumer promotions and marketing campaigns. Work with BP management to develop incentives for BP staff to stimulate sales.
Manage and maintain firearm and clothing / accessory inventory within the Bass Pro Pyramid Gallery; collaborate with Beretta Merchandising Team and National Account Rep to strategize product assortment and promotion strategy changes throughout year to react to business and seasonal opportunities.
Must be familiar with federal regulations regarding firearms sales through in-depth training. Maintain customer FA purchase records including 4473 and ATF log according to Bass Pro operating procedures.
Provide input and feedback to develop sales strategy to National Account rep and Director Sales Chains; make suggestions for firearm products to offer in Bass Pro Pyramid Gallery.
Track all sales of Beretta products and re-order merchandise when necessary (according to BP operating procedures.) Working with National Account Rep and BP Management to develop
Utilizes Beretta sales tracking tools/procedures to develop a merchandise ordering plan in coordination with NAR and in alignment with the BP buying office.
Develop and create periodic sales and promotional events to generate foot traffic and stimulate sales. Work with Beretta Gallery Manger to develop in-shop events.
Responsible for in-store training of BP staff on Beretta products. Work with BP management to develop training plan for sales associates assigned to support Pyramid Gallery. Work closely with Beretta USA management and staff as it relates to new product training, reporting and marketing. Continue to stay informed on new product launch and brand marketing strategy.
Administrative responsibilities to include developing and maintaining customer client listing, preparing monthly sales reports, performing all bookkeeping and accounting functions.
Assist with special projects as required.
Ability to set sales strategies to improve sales objectives.
Ability to set and communicate strategies to Management verbally and in writing.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
WORKING CONDITIONS\PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Nights and weekend work required. Holiday work required. BP is closed on Christmas Day.
Travel (by plane) within the US required; 2 - 4 times per year for training or event participation.
Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
Work is performed in a professional retail environment.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Excellent management and customer interaction skills; ability to communicate well both in person and on the phone, good memory, decisiveness, thoroughness.
Knowledge of Beretta products and outdoor lifestyle to include clothing and accessories.
Extensive knowledge of hunting, firearms, and outdoor sporting activities.
5 years’ experience with an outdoor retailer in a management capacity preferred.
SALES ASSOCIATE (Full-Time) – NY Gallery - Madison Avenue, New York, NY
DESCRIPTION: Generate sales volume from clothing and accessories.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assist customers with questions regarding merchandise. Operate cash register for all sales. Utilize sales techniques to increase customer purchases. Maintain store merchandise display. Assist with restocking merchandise, ticketing, inventory preparation and other projects as needed. Must possess good customer interaction skills.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred.
Minimum of 5 years retail sales experience in a specialty retail environment.
Must be able to work in a retail store environment.
Knowledge of principles of salesmanship.
Knowledge of point of sales and computers.
Knowledge of hunting, sporting equipment, clothing and accessories a plus.
