DESCRIPTION: Create, provide and deliver an exceptional and unparalleled customer experience within our Beretta Gallery. Consistently deliver a memorable experience by using the highest of individualized service standards to build customer relationships and uphold our Beretta values. Customer follow up and follow through are required to ensure we are consistently delivering on the Beretta service philosophy. Exceed annual sales volume and business objectives by identifying and executing innovative business driving opportunities. Leverage selling tools to maximize sales and impart knowledge to the client. Must be able to give detailed product description and answer questions for customers on firearms performance and function specific to desired customer shooting activity.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Responsible for sales of firearms, the safety and security of all Beretta assets and the integrity of the Beretta brand and service philosophy.Exhibit pride through positive demeanor, body language and personal presentation.Supports and promotes new business initiatives to create a positive sales gain.Demonstrates professional etiquette through integrity, honesty and respect for others.Builds on personal professional sales experience to become a more knowledgeable and effective member of the Beretta Gallery team.
Maintains merchandise in accordance with Beretta’s presentation standards.Responsible for physically acquiring and disposing all firearms legally and in accordance with all ATF, state, and local laws and regulations and with all policies. This includes completing ATF required forms, applicable state forms necessary for background checks, certifying and screening all potential firearm transfers for legality of the sale, complying with waiting periods or other possible state requirements, and straw purchases.Assist with the receipt of firearms in accordance with company policy and applicable regulations, proper and error free completion of all company forms.Perform firearms audits, mounting optics to firearms, safely checking / clearing firearms received by customers or via shipment, and preparation of firearms for retail sale.Actively participate in upholding the brand aesthetic in all merchandising activities including but not limited to daily stock maintenance, product transfers, ATF logbook, and other firearm control requirements.Demonstrate a true passion and respect for the product.Continually strengthens product knowledge and keep abreast to industry trends.Meet and exceed personal sales goals and targets, ensure positive sales margins on a quarter/yearly basis.Exemplify excellence in customer service and take responsibility to resolve customer issues with positive decorum and in a professional, timely manner.Create and develop a Beretta client book.Ensure ease of customer experience through visual, stock and general overall store presentation and maintenance.Accurately enters all customer information into the POS system, correctly processes payments, issues change and credits per policies and local laws.Utilize sales techniques to increase customer purchases, including add-on sales and repeat purchase follow up.Maintain firearm inventory including the ATF log book.Provide feedback to Premium / Gallery Gun Manager regarding selection of replenishment orders of firearms and associated products.Work closely with Beretta managers as it relates to new product training, reporting and marketing.Maintain Company margin objective on all firearm products.Have the ability to quickly identify individual customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations up to and including a complete outfitting with all accoutrements. Assist with any other projects as required (e.g. restocking merchandize, ticketing, inventory preparation, year-end inventory taking, etc.) Perform other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: some travel and weekend work required. Ability to travel by plane required. Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.Work is performed in a professional retail environment.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience preferred.At least three-years of related sales experience.
