Team Beretta Shooters Top the Podium at New Jersey State Shoot and Texas Sporting Clays Championship

Team Beretta shooters recently achieved 8 podium finishes at the 2018 New Jersey State Shoot and the 2018 Texas Sporting Clays Championship.
 
Team member, Anthony Matarese, attended the 2018 New Jersey State Shoot held at Cedar Creek Sporting Clays in Millville, NJ. Fellow team members, Dominic Gross, Desirae Edmunds and Zachary Kienbaum, competed the same weekend at the 2018 Texas Sporting Clays Championship at San Angelo Claybird Association in San Angelo, TX, which boasted approximately 575 competitors. 
 
Matarese, who shoots a DT11, achieved HOA honors in the Main Sporting event with a score of 92 out of 100 targets, beating his closest competitor by 4 birds. He also took a second-place finish in the 50-bird FITASC event, only missing 2 targets for a score of 48/50. 
 
Gross, a junior team member, attained a runner-up podium finish in the Texas State Main sporting clays event with a score of 185 targets out of 200, only 2 birds away from the first-place winner. With this great score, he also achieved champion honors in the Junior event. 
 
Gross also took runner-up in the FITASC Junior event with a score of 90/100 targets. 
 
Edmunds, shooting with a DT11 L, achieved runner-up honors in both the FITASC Lady and 5-Stand Lady events, each with a score of 86 targets out of 100. She also placed runner-up in the Lonesome Charlie Prelim Lady event with a score of 90/100 targets. 
 
Kienbaum battled against some top competitors in the Texas State Main, Lonesome Charlie Prelim, and FITASC events and scored in the top 10 for all 3 events. 
 
The team’s season will continue with the upcoming World English Championship in London from June 25-July 1 and World FITASC Sporting Championship in France from July 12-July 15.
