The SO6 EELL is the optimisation of the initial SO3 project, the first hunting rifle to boost Italian gunmaking prestige, of which it retains the distinctive features revised and optimised in a modern key.

SO6 EELL, with its lateral batteries, is the fruit of age-old knowledge and the great professionalism of Beretta's master gunsmiths. The batteries can be removed with knurled screws to facilitate inspection of the trigger and trigger group. The SO6 EELL has a sleek and elegant receiver with a robust bolt-through locking system operating on the integral tenons of the monobloc.

We are dealing with a unique over-and-under that encapsulates the entire history of the great family of the legendary SO over-and-under and manages to combine mass production with craftsmanship based on 500 years of experience.

The Beretta SO6 EELL rifle already includes engraving with a burin by the Pietro Beretta team of engravers, who have been practising and handing down the engraving tradition in the world's oldest arms factory for decades. For a more precious or complex engraving, additional burins can be added on request.

From the most classic English style to the most modern floral ornaments, from the most evocative hunting scenes to portraits or landscapes, from mirror polishing to the most contemporary surface treatments, the metal jacket of a PB Selection rifle can be decorated with any subject using the four basic techniques of engraving: the classic point and hammer, the burin for shadows and shading, gold and other precious metal transfers, and enamels in various colours. Beretta engravers can devote up to 1,000 hours or more to realising the most important projects.

Each PB Selection case is created in the Atelier in Gardone Val Trompia, Italy, in the same place where the gun is designed, engraved, finished and assembled. Here, Pietro Beretta's Italian craftsmen build each custom-made case from scratch, from the wooden frame to the application of the inner and outer fabric, from the stitching to the pyrography and painting.

Every PB Selection gun owner can choose from a wide range of fabrics, leathers, colours, inserts and graphics for their case to reflect their personality in every way.

The pistol grip stock and fore-end have an anatomical shape and are constructed and sized by hand according to the shooter's measurements. Premium class 5 European walnut woods are selected to ensure maximum performance and the unmistakable aesthetics of the SO6 EELL. All PB Selection rifle woods undergo scrupulous evaluation and quality control, both by our expert gunsmiths, who in Valle Trompia inherit centuries of knowledge of raw materials, and by the most technologically advanced machinery.

The knurling machines take care of defining the gripping notches of the gun and rod with different types of passes, while the natural or polished wood finish is applied manually, up to 80 coats (two coats of oil per day for 40 days) if Tru-Oil® is chosen.

We create unique, exclusive products: endless possibilities for personalization; 500 years of perfecting our zero tolerance approach and white assembly; top-level performance thanks to the high quality and reliability standards ensured by our industrial power and constant innovation.
