THE GREEN ICON OF COMICS AND MOVIES IN A PISTOL
A PX4 pistol for Lou Ferrigno inspired by his role in the television series "The Incredible Hulk".
UNDER THE SIGN OF THE GREEN GIANT
It was in 2017 when Fabbrica d'Armi Beretta donated a special customized PX4 Storm to Lou Ferrigno: great American actor, famous for playing the role of the Hulk in the TV series "The Incredible Hulk." During the Shot show, an event dedicated to firearms, Franco Gussalli Beretta gifted the actor that pistol inside an ammunition box with a handle that recalls the main color of the superhero and a front face with the silhouette of the character's famous fist embossed on it. The slide also features both the "Hulk" inscription and some fake cracks.
Fundamental is the bright green molded polymer gun barrel that evokes the character's iconic color. The customization of the gun allows the brand to be brought closer to the consumer and make the consumer recognize the brand.
PX4 HULK MAKING OF
The PX4 is a powerful, manoeuvrable and reliable semi-automatic pistol with an original and sophisticated appearance. The lock is geometric with a rotating barrel and the light and durable barrel is made from a fiberglass-reinforced technopolymer.
This gun has been adapted to the superhero's characteristics; in addition to the familiar green colour, many customised details have been incorporated, such as the perforated hammer with the letter 'H', the slide engraved with the character's name and look, the burnished lacquered barrel, the metal magazine catch and more.
This special project once again demonstrated Beretta's ability to update and surpass itself. It's an art... for real superheroes!
