The addition of the new APX semiautomatic pistol completes the full size pistol portfolio and makes Beretta one of the few manufacturers to offer full size polymer and metallic framed handguns in both hammer and striker fired operating systems.

Designed specifically for military and law enforcement operators, the APX has been put through extensive testing and evaluation at the professional end user level. The result is a pistol that delivers superior performance in durability and reliability, ergonomics, trigger, and modularity. Utilizing a removable, serialized chassis frame, the APX can be easily modified with replaceable grip frame housings and is simple to disassemble and maintain.

Each APX comes with 3 interchangeable back straps so users can best fit their hands and preferences. The APX’s aggressive full length slide serrations make slide manipulations easy under any conditions . To accommodate right or left-handed use, the APX’s magazine release button can be easily reversed, and the slide stop is ambidextrous. The APX’s trigger breaks at 6lbs and has a clear tactile and audible very short reset.

The APX truly is the ultimate striker fired pistol from Beretta.

I Just Love This Pistol

 

I’ve been a loyal Beretta customer for decades now. I’m such a fan than even most of my clothes come from Beretta. My wife and I joke that the 50% of my clothes that aren’t from 5.11 are from Beretta! I have, or have had, several 92 platform pieces, a 96 INOX, and the pop top .22. I’ve also owned MANY Sigs, Glocks, S&Ws, and Walthers. When the APX came out I was interested but didn’t want to drop the dough for ANOTHER pistol. Then Beretta pulled the genius move and dropped the price! I jumped on the full-size FDE model. Not only did I but in days I convinced two of my coworkers to grab one. They both went with the standard black. At the first range day all of us were beyond satisfied. All three are tack drivers. The grip of the APX, similar to the 92, fits my hand perfectly and the angle ratio of grip to body is ideal. I’ve since eaten through around 2000 rounds of all types of ammo and never had a feeding issue. I prefer the FDE since it serves hunting purposes as a side arm too!
