Beretta Skeet Shooter

My name is Christian Eleuteri, I am a skeet shooter and use a Beretta DT11 Trident. I train at the TAV Cisterna shooting range. I was born on 13 November 1983 in Latina. For a living I am an Agent of the State Forestry. I started shooting in 1999 and my way of life is to try and enjoy every day by taking things as they come.

Christian started shooting at the age of 16. He made his debut on the international ISSF scene in 2001 by taking part in the junior European Championships in Zagreb and also participated the following year in Lonato.
2003 was a great year for Christian when he won the gold medal at the World Championship in Delhi. He was also placed fourth at the junior European Championship in Brno. In 2005 he won silver at the World Cup stage held in Changwon.
He has been awarded the Gold Medal for Athletic Valour.
He got married on 30 August 2014.

What Does he bring on shooting Range?

The Shotgun

The DT11 is Beretta’s top-of-the-line competition shotgun, used by the world’s absolute best clay shooters. It is built around a vault-tough cross-bolt action, a whole 3mm wider than its predecessor’s (the DT10) and therefore stronger and even more durable. DT11 Trident Beretta. Christian Eleuteri shots with Dt11 Beretta.

What's your favourite shotgun?
Most certainly the DT11 Trident, but also the ASE90.

Why do you prefer this specific model?
It is very reliable in that it is very stable and easy to handle.

Who is your favourite shooter?
I have two favourites, Andrea Benelli and Ennio Falco, with whom I have had the good fortune of competing.

Who inspired you to shoot?
My father, Antonio.

What's your best shooting story?
My father always said that in order to win, one must make many sacrifices. This year he literally screamed it out at me after I won the Italian Championship. I have to admit that he is right.

Which is your favourite shooting range?
I really enjoy the range in Belgrade where I have had the chance to compete a number of times.

How old were you when you held a shotgun for the first time?
I was 8 years old and I had gone hunting with my father. He placed an apple on top of a short pole and said "shoot"! I fired three confident shots, but the apple remained in one piece; I was a little disappointed, but I managed to quite masterfully trim the olive tree that was behind the pole!

What are your objectives and plans for the future?
My dream is to take part in the Olympics, but most of all, I would like to win  a World Championship.

What advice can you give others who are inspired by you?
I would say take part in this sport with all the passion that you have because it improves your life.
