The Shotgun

The DT11 is Beretta’s top-of-the-line competition shotgun, used by the world’s absolute best clay shooters. It is built around a vault-tough cross-bolt action, a whole 3mm wider than its predecessor’s (the DT10) and therefore stronger and even more durable. DT11 Trident Beretta. Which is your favorite gun?
My favorite gun is absolutely the Beretta SO 5.

Why do you prefer to use that gun in particular?
I can’t use this gun, because I haven’t one. But I like the balance, the fast trigger and the layout of it. Maybe one day I’ll by one.

Which is your favorite shooter?
My favorite shooter is the Olympic gold medalist Michael Diamond. He is on the top since two decades and it seems to be easy for him to never give up. For me he is an inspiration.

Who inspires you to practice shooting?
My father inspires me practicing shooting, because he always own a gun and shoot, so when I was young I dreamt to be like him.

Which is your most beautiful anecdote connected to the shooting sport?
My most beautiful anecdote is connected to the European Championship in 1998. I had so much fun and I felt so good with the whole German Team and it was a very successful event. I’ll never forget that days.

Which is your favorite shooting range?
My favorite shooting range is TRAP Concaverde, in Lonato, Italy. It’s a big range and the competitions are always well organized. Also this shooting range is not far away from my home.

How many years do you have when you first took up a gun?
I remember that I was 9 or 10 years old and the gun that I used was a Baikal single barrel. I remember that it where so heavy and I needed help to hold it.

Which are your plans and goals for the future?
I like to win the German Mastership in the team competition with our team.

Which is your advice for someone who use you as an inspiration?
You can learn shooting only from shooting. So it’s very important to train a lot and it’s also important to learn from the best shooter in the world. Important questions are: Which material do the use? What is their shooting style? How do they do the preparation for a competition?
