The A400 500 Years Special Edition marks an extraordinary milestone in Beretta’s history, celebrating 500 years of passion, craftsmanship and an enduring bond with the world of hunting. This exclusive edition captures the soul of the hunt through a breathtaking, fully engraved game scene that flows seamlessly across the front and back of the sleek A400 receiver line, transforming metal into art.
Subtle touches of ink and precious gold inlays enhance the depth and movement of the engraving, creating a striking contrast with the refined Extragrain wood. Every detail converges toward the ultimate symbol of this celebration: the Beretta 500 Years logo, proudly sealing this limited expression of heritage and mastery.

Beauty, however, is only part of the story. Beneath its sculpted elegance, the A400 500 Years Special Edition delivers the performance that has made Beretta’s semi-automatic platforms legendary.

The ultrafast B-Link® gas-operated system, featuring a cross-tube gas piston, delivers a cycling speed up to 36% faster than that of its competitors. The combination of this powerful gas system and the precision-engineered rotating bolt ensures rapid, reliable, and intelligent operation. Thanks to the re-engineered gas ports and the systematic reduction of mechanical friction throughout, residue build-up is significantly minimized—greatly reducing the need for maintenance.

The cold-hammer-forged Steelium® barrel with 6x6 mm flat top rib, including a double forcing cone extending up to 80 mm, increases terminal energy and constantly dense and uniform shot patterns. The pattern remains perfect and uniform irrespective of cartridge type, thanks also to the use of the Optimachoke® HP chokes, manufactured from high-strength steel to offer exceptional corrosion resistance against the power of steel shot.

The aluminum trigger group ensures lighter and crispier trigger pull and shorter reset, including a competition pro-lifter for unprecedented speed and ease of loading. The lifter remains in the "raised" position when the bolt is closed, allowing you to insert new shells into the magazine much faster, and eliminating the risk of thumb bite.

A400 500 years Special Edition is packed with Extragrain wood stock and forend, ergonomically upgraded featuring an enhanced and enlarged checkering area and an ambidextrous palm swell for superior grip and control in all clay target applications.
Beretta’s B-uffer® recoil pad offers unprecedented resistance to the elements and long-lasting legacy, together with an aggressive ergonomic design.
