CHEETAHS WITH THE BITE OF A LION
The Serie-80 Cheetas deliver .380 (9mm short) and .32 ACP (7.65 mm) power in a medium frame package. Super-safe, reliable and easy to shoot, they are perfect for concealed carry or personal defense--for those shooters who are not ready to commit to a sub-compact such as the Nano or Pico. The Cheetah pistols feature an open slide design that increases the reliability of the firearm. The frame is made from an aluminum alloy that delivers the strength and durability of steel – but with 65% less weight. The automatic firing pin block (FS models) prevents the gun from firing in case of inadvertent drops or strikes against hard surfaces. Features such as these, and the built-in reliability and quality, make the Cheetah a classic in the Beretta lineup.
The 81FS Cheetah is Identical to the 84FS model, but it is chambered in .32 ACP (7.65 mm).
A double-action pistol, 13-round staggered magazine and frame-mounted manual safety with hammer decocking device. The Combat-style trigger guard provides support for a two-handed hold and offers an enlarged opening for easy access with gloves. The 84FS Cheetah features a corrosion-resistant anodized alloy frame with matte black finish and Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum steel barrel with hard chromed bore for longer life. A nickel-finished version is also available with plastic or wood grips.
With its straight-line, 8-round magazine, the pistol has a slimmer profile that makes it ideal for those with smaller hands. As a slimmer handgun, it is also quite suited for concealed carry--as well as home-defense or recreational shooting. The 85 FS Cheetah is also available with a nickel finish.
