Interview
Which is your favorite gun?
My favorite gun is the Beretta model DT11 and this is the gun that I actually use to train and to compete.
Why do you prefer to use that gun in particular?
I love to use this particular gun because is so light and because is without recoil. I never use a gun like this before. I feel really good in my arms.
Which is your favorite shooter?
My favorite shooter is Bruno Rossetti. I actually train with him sometimes and I always feel good with him because he’s a great shooter and man. I admire his technique and his style.
Who inspires you to practice shooting?
My father was my inspiration. He practiced shooting since I was a child and I always look at him when he usually goes to the ranges. Watching him I decided to start practicing this sport.
Which is your most beautiful anecdote connected to the shooting sport?
My most beautiful memory about shotgun is my Olympic Bronze Medal in Beijing in 2008. I’ll never forget that feeling. One year before I couldn’t even imagine that, and when I was on the podium I realized that one of my dreams become true.
Which is your favorite shooting range?
My favorite shooting range is in Suhl. I been there many times and I always feel really good there because is green and very clean. In this range I feel like being at home.
How many years do you have when you first took up a gun?
When I took up my first gun I was 11 years old and I really do not have a particular anecdote connected to it. I was with my father and this memory is so comfortable for me.
Which are your plans and goals for the future?
My plan for the future is to become a skeet coach and help young shooters to become great.
Which is your advice for someone who use you as an inspiration?
My advice would be to perseverate in sports and believe in itself because only in this way people can reach their dreams.
