Cassandro Tammaro

Beretta Skeet Shooter

I'm Cassandro Tammaro and I shoot with a Beretta 692  in the skeet discipline; my training ground is TAV Falco. I'm a forestry agent born in Capua on 5 April 1993. I'm single and I don't have any children. I started shooting in 2005. My philosophy in life is: “fight to win!”

Cassandro started shooting at the age of 12. He was inspired by the great Ennio Falco. Training at his shooting range started in 2009. He then started competing in the junior ISSF category, making his debut in the European Championship in Osijek and the World Championship in Maribor.
In 2011 he obtained the silver medal at the junior World Championship which was held in Belgrade. In 2013 he won two bronze medals, one at the World Championship in Lima and the other in the European Championship in Suhl. He also won gold in the team event at the World and European Championships.

What Does he bring on shooting Range?

The Shotgun

The Beretta 692’s look combines the traditional design of the Beretta over-unders with cutting-edge technological solutions. The receiver design is elegant and technical, with a shiny-polished profile on side panels and bottom.

What's your favourite shotgun?
The Beretta 692, which I currently use.

Who is your favourite shooter?
My favourite is without doubt Ennio Falco, because apart from being an excellent shooter, he is also a great man that should be seen as a role model.

Who inspired you to shoot?
My inspiration could only be Ennio Falco.

What's your best shooting story?
My best memory is related to the shooting range in Montecatini in 2012, when I scored 149/150.

Which is your favourite shooting range?
The Tiro a Volo Falco where I do my training.

How old were you when you held a shotgun for the first time?
I was 3 years old. While everyone else played with Lego, I would try to hold a shotgun.

What are your goals and plans for the future?
I want to achieve the highest levels both in my sporting career and my private life.

What advice can you give others who are inspired by you?
It's not impossible to reach the top levels in a sporting career. What is really difficult is to stay humble and not become big headed.
