Hi! I am Domenico Simeone, I was born on 25 October 1994 in Piedimonte Matese and I do skeet shooting with a Beretta 692. I started shooting in 2008 and I train at the TAV Falco shooting range. I am a member of the Fiamme Oro and my philosophy in life is only by making sacrifices can we achieve certain results. That applies to everything we do.
Biografy
Domenico made his debut on the international shooting scene in 2013.
He immediately became a talking point with his victory at the junior European Championship which took place in Suhl, but mostly thanks to his gold at the junior World Championship held in Lima, Peru, where he shot a total of 123 targets.

Interview
What's your favourite shotgun?
My favourite shotgun is without doubt the one that I use, the Beretta 692. I have never used anything better!
Why do you prefer this specific model?
I have tried a number of shotguns, but this one is the most stable and reliable that I have ever held. From a safety perspective, it makes all my concerns disappear when I am competing.
Who is your favourite shooter and why?
My favourite shooter is without a shadow of a doubt Ennio Falco; I have often seen him shoot and for me he is a real reference point. I feel he is the best shooter I have ever seen because apart from obviously being the best, he is also a great person, a real role model.
Who inspired you to shoot?
I can only say Ennio Falco.
What's your best shooting story?
Without a shadow of a doubt, my best memory was last year at the World Championship in Lima, Peru. Winning my first international competition so far away from home was an exciting and unforgettable experience. Nothing will ever exceed the intensity of that moment.
Which is your favourite shooting range?
I have to say the Tiro a Volo Falco, the range where I started and where I still do train. Maybe one day I will come across a better range, but my heart will always belong to TAV Falco.
How old were you when you held a shotgun for the first time?
I held a shotgun for the first time when I was only 6 years old. It was extremely heavy and I battled to hold it. They say that the older you get the more your childhood memories fade, but that day is still clear in my mind.
What are your goals and plans for the future?
My answer will probably seem obvious, but I can only dream of becoming a champion! 2013 was a great year for me and I hope to continue on that wave. I am very hopeful and who knows? Maybe in two years Rio de Janeiro will be on my agenda.
