“Casa natale Beretta” designates the early Beretta family home. This home is Pietro Beretta’s birthplace and became the Beretta’s historical dwelling house. The Beretta name has been passed down through 16 generations. As one of the oldest family business alive, the Beretta family is part of “Les Hénokiens”, the association of bicentenary companies.

In 500 years of tradition, the walls of this house tell the story of the 1858-1932 era, just before Pietro Beretta decided to move into the new Villa.

After a careful 2-years restoration, the house is now open to the public and features a temporary exhibition displaying exclusive contents. The exhibition revolves around the history of the family and of the factory, which are deeply tied to the development of Gardone Val Trompia urban pattern and to the historical personalities of that time, from Giuseppe Antonio Beretta (1840-1903) to the sons of Pietro Beretta.

The story flows through previously unreleased images and pictures that have been found in the house itself, during the restoration process. In order to provide better documentary evidence of that period, the images are matched with reproductions of documents and records of historical value, found in the vaults of the firearms factory.
