Beretta APX A1 Carry WG

This is one of the best carry firearms I have owned. The market has started to go the way of compact 9MM firearms that have the optic option. I had been carrying a competitors .380 and though it was compact, it ony carried 6 or 7 rounds of ammo and the recoil was rough. I purchased the original APX and have loved it compared to other polymer striker firearms. When I saw this at an incredible price compared to competitors optic ready carry guns I grabbed it up. The firearm is just as compact if not better than the .380 i was carrying and lighter. I put the Sig Rome Zero 6MOA and it fit beautiful with the plate from Beretta. The 8 round magazine allows for a great grip including the pinky. The 6 round magazine allows for deeper concealed carry. I would love to see a 10 round magazine for even greater capacity and the grip. I have even been shooting steel challenge with this in the optic category. Have run 300 or more rounds through this with all kinds of ammo and no failures.

The APX A1 Carry is a big improvement over the APX Carry I purchased about a year ago. The addition of optics ready is much better and the trigger on the APX A1 Carry is noticeably better than the APX Carry. I also think the slide serrations give me a better grip on the slide as well. Lastly the takedown lever on the APX A1 Carry is much improved compared to the APX Carry as you don’t need any additional tools to break down the pistol. Overall I would highly recommend the APX A1 Carry.
