Factory mags work best, and .25 is a super fun round in the Model 21.
The Model 3032 is my standard backup pistol, and has been for some time, but it is not a fun pistol to shoot. It kinda hurts after 30 or 40 rounds. The .25ACP is still potentially deadly, but not 100% reliably deady. It sure is fun to shoot, compared to the 3032! My goodness, I just love shooting the little 21 in .25 Auto. With Beretta factory magazines, I might get a stovepipe on the last round, of a dirty Model 21, or 3032, with questionable ammo, but having no slide lock open on empty, it's not really a serious issue, with the Beretta mouse guns. Any gun can incapacitate, or deter an attacker, so long as it works when you need it, and that's why we trust Beretta! I can carry either Beretta centerfire pocket pistol and be confident the gun will fire when called upon to do so. It's not likely I am going to fire 20 or 30 rounds, so having any malfunction is very highly unlikely.
